E. coerulea coerulea has a blunter, more rounded snout than that of E. multicarinata
The pattern and tail length also help identify it E. m. multicarinata.

Thank you Derek! Question, how is it distinguishable from a lightly patterned Elgaria coerulea coerulea from this angle?

Elgaria multicarinata multicarinata
