Notes
While running I noticed what looked like a small section of zonata. After looking and realizing it was and then looking further along the edge of the road and side of a residential drive way, I found more pieces including the head. To me, it looked like this snake had been cut into pieces, most likely by shovel and I'm sure by a homeowner who thought he was doing the right thing. I have met quite a few people over the years that do this thinking they are killing a coral snake...always a bummer.
