Notes
Likely a hybrid with A. cognatus
Comments
Cranial crest are not at a 90 degree angle and green blotching, so it is a hybrid.
This is a woodhouse. Doesn't seem to have any traits of A.cognatus from the clear pictures.
Cranial crest is distinct and parallel out onto the snout never joins, strong mid-dorsal stripe, no bilateral symetry paired dorsal blotches, rostrum shape is woodhouse. what criteria makes this a Great Plains or possible hybrid?
