Thanks, Brian. I haven't spent much time at all in Kern Co. for boas and saw 3 in this locality, two of which were more orange-ish type boas. This one was more brown tones. Other pics I've seen from this area seem to be more orange boas well.

The habitat shot is actually the insitu shot, as I spotted the snake a good 15ft up the hillside. I had pulled up to photo and release the other boa, and as I got out and shined around I spotted this one, pretty cool!
