Small DOR turtle seen on pavement a few yards above the pond as we got out to look for snakes along the edge. We're not entirely sure on the ID--it could be some variety of map turtle, but the fact that the turtle was a small juvenile and was in pretty rough shape on the head from being run over made us resort to our best guess based on habitat and process of elimination.
