Notes
Incidental sighting out my window of a spectacular Desert Spiny Lizard. It walked down the concrete wall in my backyard, across the gravel, ate an insect, did some pushups, and ran off. Blue underneath chin. Black collar. It was the biggest lizard I've ever seen -- I estimate it was 11 or 12" long from nose to tail. I was sadly unable to obtain a photo. But I got a good look at it through binoculars, which I keep at my desk.
