Then it might be intermontana, based on range. I can't tell from the photo whether there is any boss between the eyes. The distance between the eyes also does not appear to be less than the width of the eyelid.
Thanks for the correction. I didn't expect S. multiplicata this far NW; its only a few miles from Lake Mead. I thought S. intermontana would be here-
This is Spea multiplicata (Mexican spadefoot). ID is incorrect or mislabeled.
