Notes
About 4" long giant spotted in shallow pool of water on edge of creek. Gills, head shape, tail shape, body shape, and coloration all suggest Cope's Giant to me. The limbs did not appear to touch when adpressed.
Torrent salamander and coastal giant found nearby.
