In marshy grass along stream draining historic gold mining area. Farthest North HERP entry for North America so far, 90 miles south of the Arctic Circle.

This is awesome. Someday, Im hoping to drive all the way to this point from Southern California, find the Wood Frog, and then start my herp'n adventure all the way back to SoCal, finding every amphibian species between. It will take time to drive to the Artic Circle and even longer to drive back to Los Angeles.
