I guess that was a bit vague. I was referring to the road. I will post a find here in a few minutes from 3/4 miles from the coast as the crow flies. I’ve seen the others just like it on Hwy 1.
Not my photo, but it was found within the coastal area, so not a Valley. Red on the head is not always the defining characteristic though. Naciemiento drains to the Salinas River, this creek drains to the coast.
Looks like the Valley Garters I’ve found at Nacimiento. Any head shots of the other one found? This one obviously has no red on its head.
