Notes
Large adults seen and even heard calling multiple years in a row during August caribou hunts. Recorded at same location/time the previous year (Record 295088). Location is alpine tundra at 3,900 feet in foothills of the Alaska Range. Only place I've heard Wood Frogs calling in August-- their normal breeding season in southern Alaska is mid-late May. All specimens I have seen there have been rotund.
