Notes
As i was walking I saw what looked like a rodent hole near some rocky outcrops (within 3-4 feet away) and I noticed a face looking at me. Rather than going back down the hole it came out of the hole. The man made pond (watering hole probably for the goats that graze nearby) was a few hundred feet away.
In the pond there were HUNDREDS of Chorus frog tadpoles mostly staying toward the center of the pond and occasionally coming toward the edge. No pictures were taken of them but they shared the pond with Southern California Toad Tadpoles. Please see Record # 42594 for pics of the tadpoles photographed.
