Spotted on edge of trail - first skink I've seen in SoCal that wasn't under cover. About the same length but much more slender than other skinks seen in same area. Slow-played the catch because I thought I had him out in the open and the skinny guy slipped into a hole that I hadn't seen. Also saw alligator lizard and several fence lizards in the mustard nearby. No voucher.
