Notes
This big, old gophersnake was found moving out in the open in a popular spot with a bunch of people around.
It was about 60-65" long and had numerous scars. The last few inches of its tail were chewed off by a rodent some time ago. It was thick and still seemed vigorous. Its ventrals had a lot of reddish colorations.
It hissed a lot and struck a few times while I tried to pose it for some photos.
