This Chuck was much less in the mood to deal with me and bolted once I got within 15 feet. The are he lives has Shotgun cartridges all over the place. His wariness is probably a necessary part of surviving in such a habitat.

I want to catch one. I have seen a few through binoculars in Joshua Tree and we caught one on a herpetology field trip once, but I want to catch one and take pics :)
