Notes
A long dead Tortoise who's cause of death is a mystery. I found this carcass on a survey I was conducting, and because it is of biological importance in establishing historical presence in an area, I add it here. Of interest is the reports from fellow Biologists that live Tortoises of varying ages occur within a mile of this deceased individual. Important to note is that this Tortoise was not killed by the activities of Caltrans in their re-pave project of Hwy 62.
