I think Eastern Hognose would be my guess.

No I don't have a head shot. Florida watersnakes usually have some black on the belly, as does the cottonmouth. The overall color looks brown, but it could be washed out from the sun. I just snapped a pic and moved on, not even really thinking about it.

Do you have a photo at least showing the head? Tough to tell without it.
Could be a Cottonmouth (a bit brown for that?), a waternsnake species, even an Eastern Hognose (if they lose their pattern in that area as adults).
