I had come to the conclusion by this individual that salamanders are some of the most frustrating little creatures to photograph I've ever dealt with.

Being a CA desert guy, we have to do a bit of driving to encounter Salamanders. I was shocked to see these guys jump. Just ridiculous, haha.
Not all salamanders are as fast as this but Two-lineds are pretty fast. I've missed them several times.
