Notes

This turtle was found AOR in a suburban neighborhood near a large kettle pond in the Madison area. This is out of this species range in Wisconsin, which means this specimen was probably displaced. This species does, however occur in the extreme Northwest edge of Dane county. Therefore a record for G. geographica will be provided for Dane Co. WI.
