Notes
Had just flipped some junk and was walking away when I heard the noise of something moving in the dry grass. Carefully wandered back and started looking in the area where I heard the noise when I happened upon the snake about 5' past the stuff I flipped - we were moving towards each other and didn't see each other due to tall grass until separated by only 2'. Both of us pulled back a little and she started rattling. I got a quick pic but then the rattler got away downhill at a high speed. Was close to three feet long.
