Seven glossy snakes were found on the same long road between 7:30 - 9:24 PM, starting at an elevation of 3,100 feet and ending at 2,300 ft.
Air temps ranged from 69 F (first snake) to 72 F; road temps. were between 70-74 F; body temps were measured between 67 - 74 F.
These snakes all looked very similar and were about 8-10" long. One was found freshly hit by a car.
