Notes
This MONSTER was brought to me by a park volunteer. He found it on September 1, on his trot line. It spit the hook once in his boat, and there was no visible damage. It appeared to be in good health and after I photographed it, I released it.
The carapace was about 16 1/2" long. By far the largest one I have ever seen!
