Three specimens were collected near Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The first, RMB 6318, was collected 5 July 1976, 7 miles N Playa del Carmen; the second was RMB 7878 collected on 26 June 1979 at 11 AM, 2.5 miles N Playa del Carmen; the third, RMB 7885 collected 27 June 1979 at 7:10 AM, 14.8 miles S Playa del Carmen.
