Pulcra are found in Riv county. This is not a rare find it is from a well known location. That said, not a easy find, and very cool none the less. Congrats William. Can you upload the photo so it can be vouchered?

I've heard of z's being found south of the 91 near Corona. Most likely the North facing slopes of the Santa Ana Mtns. and if those finds are true, they would be pulchra. Be neat if this record was close to the z's I mentioned...as I was told I would get a pic a couple times but still never seen it.

Very interesting record William. It's unusual to find a zonata at such a low elevation in Riverside County. Also, the pulchra subspecies is not known to occur in Riverside County. You may have found a parvirubra.
