Notes
After seeing so many dead snakes, turtles & countless other animals in the road today, I was finally able to save this cute little Box Turtle from the tires of some ignorant Tennesseen. The average born & bred Tennesseen thinks that God puts animals in the road for them to have target practice with their vehicles.
I moved her far from the roadway to a field of wild strawberries.
She is an adult, but her growth is somewhat stunted. She has some old damage to the top of her carapace, which could have been a close encounter with a lawn mower.
Comments
thats sad about the snakes, i hate how everyone has no resepect for herps. and tennessee has an awsome diversity of them too. people in southern missouri are the same way.
