Snake was found dead in streamside vegetation. Everything more than 30' from the stream was developed, and the stream itself appeared to be heavily impacted and polluted. At this point in the year it is reduced to a few puddles.

Hey - I busted my butt for that dead snake too. :)
Bust my butt finding one yesterday, thinking 1st ever in berdoo...only to find you've logged a dead one...DOH!!! lol
Great entry.. :O) My dad and I used to go to holcomb creek in Big Bear and catch them in the creek, as a kid I thought that was the greatest thing ever.. LOL
