I was out field herping with my son in an area were the forest was being burnt out, thinking we might have some success and within 15 min. to the north of a small road were the fires had died down the snake was spotted laying next to a dead tree. In order to save its life and get it out of harms way, it was captured and will be released in the same area when foresty stops burning that part of the forest. In the meantime I will provide food and water for him until it is safe for him to go back to the habitat.
