Notes

Prettiest shovelnose I ever laid my eyes upon...

Habitat altered for groves and unprotected, yet these little snakes
seem to be unaltered by that fact..

location entered into Record

A car traveling beyond me raced up and grabbed the snake that we
saw first. They took the snake against my protests... In 30 years
of night driving I have never experienced such behavior. A child
in the car was involved in grabbing the snake at his dads instructions,
so we let the incident fade out.
