Notes
This is a Western Lesser Siren from Memphis Tennessee. There is a culvert connected to the lake at Nashoba Park that goes underneath Wolf River Blvd. Every year in the spring the Sirens migrate through this culvert at night during or after rainfall. My friend Jay Eubanks told me about this location and said he did a study on it in 2001 so to see that they are in fact still there now in 2018 is a great relief! One of the coolest herp species I've ever seen!
