Notes
Extremely heavy rains the night prior. We camped in a near by Mtn. Range and was tough getting out due to flash flooding. The torts enjoyed this day, as not long after this photo we got stuck attempting to cross a washed out section of road and a person we talked to that came by said they ride in this area for 41 years and have never seen a Desert Tort yet this day he had come across two others earlier in the day. We stuck around and watched to make sure it get off the road safely. It climbed the burm up and found some shade and ended up parking for a little bit so we took off.
