Possible range expansion. Specimen was collected and turned into the Natural History Museum (Herpetology Department) for DNA.

Thanks. Found on the coastal side of the San Gabes, which is why I picked it up and turned it in. Most people think someone is collecting from the desert and releasing on this side, as this is now the 2nd desert snake found in this area. That's a legit theory and I guess only time will tell. In the meantime, I'll keep looking!
