In found this same exact snake the next night in the same spot. Technically same day, as it was after midnight the first night I found it. Large phyllorhynchus.

No, these are posed shots. The first night I saw it going off the road ahead of me. The very next night it was sitting in the middle of the road and looked just like what I was hoping it would of been...LOL. I have video of it, but didn't take any insitu shots
What's crazy is I had the same thing happen with a lyre here a week before. Although that one is about 50ft from where I saw it the previous night. This one was literally only a few feet away if that.
