Part of a program by Massachusetts Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary to rescue cold-stunned sea turtles that wash up on Cape Cod every year. We have a permit to remove these turtles from the beach. The turtle was alive and was then transported to the New England Aquarium's sea turtle hospital for rehabilitation. I do not know the current status of this turtle.
