Notes
The snake was found stretched out in the grass of the trail I was walking on my way to a board site. This is the first rat snake I have seen here in eight years. I used to see them quite frequently here. Like with the copperheads, I am not sure why I am seeing less of them. I am just glad to have seen one out here again.
