Found under a large thick rock (the one pictured here)that was buried under the ground 8 to 10 inches, she was on the bottom.. There were very few turnable rocks in the area.....

It's my understanding with talking with a few people Milksnakes, as far as they knew, were not very uncommon from this area, and that this was a good find. This was my first of two trips here to this area, and this is the only milksnake found. Though Getula are common here, and 4 were seen during this trip.. (though unfortunately the getula weren't recorded.

First ever milksnake in Elsworth County recored in the NAFHA database.

Habitat protected, only vouchered 2 total herps in this county on this trip, wish I would have recorded all the other finds... Camera was running low on battery
