I observed 3 diff. Mitch that day, and it was HOT. Only snakes of the day-(besides a big ruber DOR on the 94).

This shot is an in-situ and photo'd as found when I lifted the rock. It shot down in the jumble after this pic and the rock was placed back down, so this is the only shot of this specimen.

the elevation range was from 1650-1817ft. 1 was at 1659 and the other 2 at the ridge were 1817ft.

All 3 speciemens are photo'd here, a single shot of each one. These are some of the best looking mitch in ca. I have seen so far.
