Notes

I believe this is a.tigris stejnegeri as it was found on the north facing desert section of the San Bernardino Mtns. and looking at range maps I believe A. tigris tigris falls here, but then I have seen them from the base of the foothills on the coastal slopes all the way to the top-(above 5000ft) and see no diff. in those specimens compared to these on the backside of the mtn.

Habitat shot included where these 2 were seen. More were seen but these were the only 2 I actually caught to photo. Once they hit the sand it was hard for them to run fast and easy to grab by hand.

GPS approx. here, these lizards are pretty much all on the backside of the sb mtns anyways. I don't think elev. or exact area really matters. It was found at "devils hole", if needed to be exact, google search for devils hole.
