Notes
Found beneath a stone at the fringe of a desert wash. Happened upon when clearing rocks to make a path for off-road vehicle traffic. When first uncovered, rapidly concealed self in gravel, and when extracted wiggled and flipped around vigorously. Extremely worm-like with small head. Possessed a single scale between its ocular scales and small spine at tip of tail. Measured 23 cm in total length.
