Notes
Mangled road kill that was difficult to distinguish. However, after close examination it was evident to be P.c. bimaris. Determining factors included having keeled scales, 4 prefrontal scales on head, no modified rostral, and later understanding that gopher snake subspecies from Baja California may possess reddish dorsal blotches toward front of body.
