Notes

I was called by the homeowner, who said it had a rattlesnake in a rodent trap. The first pic is my screenshot of the video he sent to me (video was from 8/02, today is 8/09). Upon my arrival, there was a trail of ants, and ants all over the snake. I freed the snake from the trap and brought it home, where I took the rest of the photos. I don't think the snake's back is broken, as it can move its tail and is rattling just fine. But you can see how flat the back is, and I'm worried this snake won't be able to have a bowel movement. I cleaned its wounds and will hold onto it for a bit and see if it can recover.
