Tiny spring salamander larval found swimming with a couple of siblings/friends in a safe, smooth part of a gentle stream. It was a sunny day and the water was beautifully clear. Many salamanders and other creatures in the area, healthy environment. Substrate consisted of small pebbles, silt, and leaves, as well as medium to large size rocks. This area of the creek ran through flat, grassy terrain with mild tree coverage.
