WOW! South Texas has some massive WDBs, and the first 5+ footer I saw did not even register as a snake in my mind until I was past it. I stopped for this monster, which was unfortunately hit and well on his way to DOR status. Seen alongside many Texas toads, of which I did not get any pictures.
