Reporting due to the large increase of population...
I've lived in the same house for 25 years and have never once seen these lizards, only fence and alligator lizards. But this year (2025) I have had hundreds of sightings.
I think this is "Coastal Whiptail - Aspidoscelis tigris stejnegeri" based on territory and the lighter tail but could be "Great Basin Whiptail - Aspidoscelis tigris tigris"
