Notes
Very pretty adult racer flipped under large highway sign in the exact same place that the snake had been seen 4 days earlier. The first time, the snake had been seen at 5:50pm on a warm clear day with few clouds, and managed to escape fairly quickly. This time, the cool and overcast 50 degree weather caused the snake to be relatively immobile and easy to capture and photograph.
