Notes

42 inch male found under board with 5 foot Coachwhip...

The Coachwhip and the King were interested in retreating under
the same hole. This lead to the two snake circling each other.
The Coachwhip was obviously the more intelligent of the two snakes.

They sized each other up pretty good..

At one time I thought the Coachwhip was going to take a shot
at the king, but decided to retreat into the hole first.

Nice to see big Coachwhips on the coast and in general, not to
mention it was found with a

"Newporter" Phase Kingsnake..

Really interesting and cool observation.

What a flip! Have I mentioned how jealous I am of all your success with Coachwhips? Beautiful animal. I suppose the king isn't too bad either ; )
