after sitting on a rock in the middle of the stream for 10 minutes, I looked over at the bank and saw this garter snake..
I began a very very slow approach, that took between 2 and 3 minutes. Taking a picture after every painstaking step on my knees. The snake never moved the whole time, until it was too late, and I got a close picture.
Very Cool to sit on the creek with the garter snake on a beautiful morning..
