Cal King was found crossing the road very quickly. The evening temps felt pretty good at about 72 degrees. The temps did not hold very well and dropped down into the low 60's/59 degrees within a half hour after this find.No other reptiles were seen in this area at any point before or after this find. Jim Bass and Tony Volkman were other observers in the car. The moon rose at 4:53PM and set at 4:06AM, it was very bright with a 93% illumination, The moonphase was almost full with only 3 days before the FULL MOON.
