Notes
Found among trash near abandoned house. First one snake was spotted in the open, where it fled into a pile of tires that it was then extracted from. A second rat snake was found a few feet away. The second snake had a piece of netting around its mouth that had embedded in the skin and was restricting jaw movement. We cut the netting, but since parts of it had already embedded it was not completely removeable. Hopefully it will pop off after a few large meals and/or sheds.
