I believe this is actually a Coast Range Fence Lizard - Sceloporus occidentalis bocourtii - initially based on keeled scales in photograph, but also based on elevation.

It's from Walnut Creek in Contra Costa County. I know nothing about graciosus subspecies and may care even less. If you know what it is, I'll be happy to put it on there.
