Believe me they are magic.. The one we chased down went into the same small clump of grass that had no exit (about the size of a human foot), 3 times... We would go through the grass (nothing), than we would look around and BAM that sucker would be next to the same clump of grass.. DOH... LMAO.. I only have this problem with whiptails..

Yeah, myself and my brother in law chased one for 20 minutes under a rock all by itself. Finally, we knew we had it... It had nowhere to go. We lifted the rock and it wasn't there??? It was like magic or something. Lol.

I spent too much time chasing them down. I think I'm gonna go practice that noosing thing on some eastern fencies in the pines, and be prepared for the next time I'm out west. Neat lizards though. I like the way they move.
